Evangelistic Meetings in Churches & Outdoor Crusades

 

 

The Meade's ministry in India primarily involves holding evangelistic meetings in churches and outdoor crusades. They have preached in many places where the gospel message was being publicly preached for the first time.   Larry's greatest privilege in life has been to preach the gospel to scores of people who for the first time were hearing the message and name of Jesus. Not only have many heard the gospel but many miracles of salvation and healing have followed.

 

Establishing Schools

 

There have been two schools established in villages where there was never a school before.  Through the financial support of churches and individuals the schools are provided with books, supplies, teachers, and a head master. Along with the schools a pastor is placed in each of those villages and now he is going to other surrounding villages to take the Gospel.  God has blessed this effort and both schools are growing and are in need of multi-functional  buildings.

 

Planting Churches

 

Along with the schools and churches that have been planted, scooters, bicycles, and motor cycles have been provided for pastors and lay workers.   Twelve churches have been built to God’s glory and some pastors are supported by Lighthouse Ministries every month.

 

“Women of Excellence” Conferences

 

Dollie has been having "Women of Excellence" Conferences. Through these meetings God has moved in powerful ways to minister to the women of India .  Over the last few years the ministry to the women in the churches of India has been a priority not only for Dollie but for the pastors of the churches as well.
